A Timeless Monochrome Wedding at The Pavilion, Branston Golf & Country Club
How Megan & Lewis transformed a clear vision into a romantic, candlelit celebration
Some weddings start with a Pinterest board.
Some start with a colour palette.
And some start with a bride who knows exactly what she wants.
When Megan first got in touch with me in November 2025, one thing was immediately clear: she had a vision.
Not just a few ideas, but a fully formed concept of how she wanted her wedding celebration to look and feel.
Megan and Lewis had chosen to get married in Las Vegas before returning home to celebrate with family and friends at The Pavilion, Branston Golf & Country Club. Their vision was timeless, elegant and romantic, with a monochrome colour palette, soft white florals and an abundance of candlelight creating a luxurious atmosphere throughout the space.
In her very first enquiry, Megan told me:
"I have an idea of exactly what I want."
And she really did.
Alongside her enquiry, Megan sent AI-generated images she had created to help communicate the overall look and feel she was hoping to achieve. Rather than trying to recreate these images exactly, they gave us an incredible starting point for conversations about atmosphere, styling and the experience she wanted to create for her guests.
From Vision to Reality
One of the things I loved most about working with Megan was how passionate she was about every detail.
After sending over her initial ideas, she told me:
"I sat for so long putting my email together so that I could truly give my vision to you. I just have such a vision and it's so much harder to just describe."
As a wedding stylist, this is one of my favourite parts of the process.
Taking the ideas, inspiration and emotions that exist in a couple's mind and transforming them into something tangible that they can see, experience and share with the people they love most.

Planning Tip: Using AI to Communicate Your Wedding Vision
Megan's AI-generated images were a fantastic tool for helping communicate the atmosphere she wanted to create.
If you're struggling to explain the vision in your head, AI can be a useful way of showing suppliers the overall vibe, colour palette and styling direction you're drawn to. It's not about creating an exact blueprint for your wedding day, but rather helping start conversations and bring your ideas to life more clearly.
Creating the Atmosphere
Throughout our planning journey, one phrase kept coming up time and time again.
Timeless.
Everything about this wedding was designed with that feeling in mind.
The monochrome palette of black and white created a sophisticated foundation throughout the room, while soft white roses and delicate florals brought a romantic touch to the styling.
The real showstopper, however, was always going to be the candlelight.
Candles were one of Megan's non-negotiables from the very beginning, and together we created layered centrepieces featuring floating candles and pillar candles, all carefully enclosed to create a warm, luxurious glow throughout the room.
The result was exactly what we had envisioned together: elegant, romantic and effortlessly timeless.
A celebration that felt reminiscent of a luxury jazz bar, with soft candlelight reflecting across the room and creating an atmosphere that immediately made an impact on guests as they arrived.

The Details That Made It Personal
One of my favourite things about this wedding was how personal it felt.
As a nod to their Las Vegas wedding ceremony, Megan and Lewis incorporated beautiful black and white photographs from their wedding day into their table numbers, allowing guests to enjoy a glimpse into their intimate celebration abroad.
The couple also included personalised "Perfect Match" matchboxes and a stylish cigar bar, adding personality and character to the celebration whilst staying completely aligned with the overall aesthetic.
Every detail felt intentional.
Every element contributed to the overall atmosphere.
And together they created a wedding celebration that felt completely and unapologetically them.

The Reveal
After months of planning, designing and refining every detail together, the moment finally arrived.
One of the most special parts of my job is being able to share that first reveal with a couple.
Watching them see their vision brought to life for the very first time never gets old.
When Megan walked into the room, her reaction was everything I could have hoped for.
There were smiles, excitement, hugs and one of those moments where all of the months of planning suddenly become worth it.
Kind Words From Megan
"Charlotte was absolutely incredible from start to finish and I genuinely couldn't recommend her enough. From day one, she completely understood my vision and somehow turned it into something even more beautiful than I could ever have imagined."
"Walking into our venue on the day was such a special moment, everything came together beyond anything I had pictured."
"Thank you for bringing our dream wedding to life."
A Vision Brought to Life
Megan and Lewis' wedding was a beautiful reminder that great styling isn't about filling a room with décor.
It's about creating a space that feels exactly how you've always imagined it would.
From the very first enquiry through to the final reveal, it was an absolute pleasure helping bring this vision to life.
If you're planning your wedding and have a clear vision in mind but aren't quite sure how to bring it all together, I'd love to hear about your plans and help transform those ideas into a day that feels completely and uniquely yours.
